
Data Center Automation Specialist

A major player in the technology industry owns and operates global infrastructure, supporting all data centers and servers. Our team works on complex problems with thousands of variables impacting supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities:- We deploy data center controls on time with effective vendor management to minimize defects at Power and Facilities Hand-Off (PFHO).
- We deliver critical projects to upgrade data center automation.
- We provide service and support to partner teams, resolving Loss of Visibility (LOV), Loss of Resilience (LOR), Large Scale Event (LSE), Critical Scale Event (CSE), and other operations impacting events.
- We resolve tasks within predefined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- We implement initiatives to improve data center efficiency or operations procedures.
- We represent our organization, building relationships across stakeholders, and participating in mission-critical data center delivery.
- We build and operate infrastructure at an enormous scale, contributing to our global presence.
- We apply unique backgrounds and perspectives to innovate for global customers and communities.

- We require experience in control system integration for enterprise clients, consolidating equipment and subsystems.
- Three years of experience in Building Management Systems (BMS), Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS), and/or Industrial Protocols is required.
- Industry-standard programming skills, including PLC or SCADA, and scripted languages are necessary.
- Ability to understand electrical diagrams, control diagrams, control networks schematics, and control panel documentation is essential.
- Experience in inspection, testing, and commissioning of control systems is required.
- Critical environments experience, preferably in data centers or other high-stakes environments, is highly desirable.
- Electrical or mechanical controls systems experience is beneficial.
- Controls construction or service experience in system architecture, design, or installation is advantageous.
- Proportional-integral-derivative (PID) controller experience is a plus.
