Library Operations Manager

**Job Overview**

This role is accountable for the effective and efficient operational management of a public library service. As a key member of the Community Services department, you will work closely with Team Leaders across Library sites to foster a performance-based culture and drive accountability.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership experience in public libraries and effective communications, financial management and understanding of governance and risk management.

You will be responsible for managing diverse teams and developing partnerships. Strong knowledge and skills in Library Management Systems, collections management, reporting and communication are essential.

Additionally, you will hold high level knowledge and skills in budget management, forecasting and project proposals.

You must have a tertiary degree qualification in Librarianship, Information Management or related discipline, or a management qualification.

Other requirements include a right to work in Australia, an Employee Working with Children's Check, a Satisfactory National Police Check and other pre-employment checks may be required depending on the role requirements.
