Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Hydrologic and Hydraulic Modeller to strengthen our modelling capability and deliver high-quality engineering solutions. The successful candidate will lead complex projects, develop processes and people, and work on integrated projects with true variety.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead technical teams on multi-disciplinary projects, contributing high-quality engineering solutions
  • Undertake modelling on small to large scale projects, including pipe networks, waterways, and retarding basins, and dam break analysis
  • Assess the big picture of modelling in our project workflow, driving growth and opportunity
  • Communicate and interpret modelling results to clients and authorities, finding ways forward for their projects
  • Mentor and develop graduates and junior engineers, fostering a strong professional development culture
About You

You share our passion for collaboration and inclusive teamwork. As a seasoned Civil or Environmental Engineer, you have a proven track record delivering flood modelling and are ready to take on a technical lead role.

  • Experience in modelling urban drainage, waterways, and retarding basins, as well as strong report writing skills
  • Strong interest and proficiency in TUFLOW and RORB, with exposure to HECRAS and DRAINS
  • Previous experience leading, developing, and mentoring teams or individuals
  • A passion for teamwork and collaboration, fostering a multidisciplinary approach to projects
  • Previous experience with water authorities, local council, or water corporations will be highly regarded
