Senior Model Validation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Model Validation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our validation process, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our models.
The successful candidate will have experience in credit risk modelling and a strong understanding of market risk management principles. They will also possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to grasp complex technical concepts and communicate them effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Validate and verify model outputs to ensure accuracy and integrity
- Analyse data and identify trends to inform model development and improvement
- Develop and maintain relationships with business units to ensure effective communication and collaboration
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement model changes and updates
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Physics, Actuarial Studies, Mathematics or Economics
- Postgraduate degree in a related field (desirable)
- CFA or FRM qualifications (desirable)
- Skills:
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
