About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Project Engineer to join our team at Downer Group. As a key member of our water infrastructure team, you will play a critical role in the delivery of civil construction projects across Logan's water infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with planning functions to advise on constructability and support scheduling, cost controls, community engagement, procurement, estimating, safety, and quality functions.
  • Assist with supplier, subcontractor, claims, and procurement processes.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Contribute to project performance and progress reporting.
  • Implement improvements based on prior experiences and learning outcomes.
About You
  • You will have a strong track record of site-based engineering experience, with a preference for water experience.
  • You will have experience delivering civil projects, including underground piping, services, pits, and excavations.
  • You will have the ability to manage subcontractor relationships.
  • You will have demonstrated ability in financial management and reporting, including budgeting.
  • You will have experience in driving quality outcomes in project delivery and contributing to a cohesive and positive team environment.
