Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator or Project Supervisor to join our team at Shadforth Civil Contractors. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for overseeing civil construction projects across the Gold Coast and Logan Region.
About the Role:
- Project Planning and Coordination: Manage construction planning, programming, and completion schedules to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Resource Allocation: Procure and allocate necessary project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
- Cost Management: Oversee cost management and reporting to ensure projects are financially viable.
- Contract Administration: Manage contract administration, including notices, reporting, and claims.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure quality assurance, including organizing testing, inspections, and submissions.
- Progress Reporting: Deliver progress reports to the Construction Manager.
- Health and Safety: Ensure safe working conditions for staff and subcontractors and adhere to compliance requirements.
About You:
- Education: Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience in civil construction, with previous experience in delivering subdivision projects highly regarded.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated experience leading a team and establishing strong working relationships.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
