Key Roles and Responsibilities:

The EL1 Commercial Financial Analyst will be responsible for providing financial advice to support business decisions, leading investigations and prioritizing outstanding issues, and developing initiatives, processes and policies that enhance price and cost analysis.

  • Create relationships with stakeholders to provide timely and accurate financial advice;
  • Provide and perform analysis and specialist costing financial advice;
  • Lead and support junior staff performing investigations and determine priorities with outstanding issues;
  • Support the development of initiatives, processes and policies that enhance the price and cost analysis.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have a sound understanding of Federal Government Financial frameworks, experience liaising with stakeholders providing financial advice on complex matters, and a Bachelor of Commerce or equivalent qualification. Additionally, they should be CPA/CA qualified or working towards it, and obtain a minimum baseline security clearance or ability to obtain.
