
Business Development Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Specialist to join our high-performing team. This role is ideal for someone who excels in building client relationships, driving business growth, and delivering outstanding service.
As a Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of existing clients. You will act as the main point of contact for your customers, ensuring their needs are met, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling, and collaborating across departments to deliver a seamless customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Build strong, multi-level relationships with clients across various industries.
- Develop and execute account growth strategies aligned with customer objectives.
- Conduct regular customer reviews and deliver tailored business insights.
- Collaborate internally to resolve service issues and improve customer experience.
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell and expand service offerings across business units.
- Monitor account performance and manage forecasting through CRM tools.
- Support the reduction of disputes, credit notes, and customer churn.
- Stay informed on industry trends, client initiatives, and compliance updates.
About the Role
You will be a commercially minded professional with a background in sales or account management. You'll have strong communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally to support customers and deliver results.
Your Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a client-facing sales or account management role.
- Experience working with large or complex accounts, ideally in logistics or transport.
- Strong analytical skills and Excel proficiency.
- Confidence in preparing and delivering presentations and business reviews.
