
Key Contracts Role

This role involves overseeing the administrative aspects of contracts, ensuring that all parties involved are aware of their responsibilities and obligations.
The ideal candidate will possess strong measurement skills, enabling them to effectively manage multiple projects from start to finish. They will also be required to prepare cost forecasts, monitor financial status, and prepare cash flow statements.
Additional responsibilities include providing input for financial reports to the Management Team, ensuring site supervisory staff are aware of the project's scope of works and inclusions in tender packages, and preparing tender documentation required for the procurement of sub-contractors.
The successful candidate will also foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, sub-contractors, suppliers, and consultants, as well as liaise with clients regarding progress claims to Head Contract.
To be considered for this role, applicants must have relevant tertiary qualifications in Building, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or similar. They should also possess solid local experience working as a Contracts Administrator, previous proven experience completing multiple projects start to finish, and understanding of Australian commercial and legal issues pertaining to head contracts.
In addition to these qualifications, the ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of major building trades, strong negotiation and influencing skills, and experience managing a project from a contract perspective.
