Senior Contract Administrator Role

This is an exciting opportunity to take the next step in your career on a large commercial project.

We are seeking a Senior Contract Administrator who will report to the Project Manager and work collaboratively with the project team.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Managing end-to-end procurement, including tender preparation, evaluation, and contract awarding.
  • Overseeing contract administration using construction-based software.
  • Ensuring full compliance with head contract obligations, including progress claims, forecasting, variations, and reporting.
  • Leading and supporting CA team resources, including performance management and goal setting.
  • Identifying and mitigating project risks while resolving contractual issues.
  • Coordinating project close-out, including financial wrap-up and handover documentation.
  • Administering authority, utility, and DA requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

A successful candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 6+ years of proven track record experience working for a head contractor.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with partners and stakeholders.
  • Contract Administration and technical construction knowledge on commercial projects.
  • Excellent understanding of industry practices, processes, and standards.
  • Proficient in relevant software and tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
