Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Business Partner to drive commercial success and profitability. As a strategic advisor, you will collaborate with sales teams to enhance business outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to drive commercial success, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
  • Deliver fact-based insights and actionable recommendations to inform key decisions, leveraging your knowledge of sales mechanics and trade terms.
  • Develop and maintain financial models, conducting analysis and scenario planning to support business cases and commercial outcomes.
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, communicating effectively and influencing outcomes in a professional manner.
  • Identify and address risks and opportunities related to trade spend management, ensuring alignment with financial goals.
  • Oversee monthly performance reporting, delivering concise and impactful insights on performance and drivers of change.
  • Promote compliance with internal policies, ensuring accurate reflection of sales performance and key drivers.
Requirements
  • Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance or Business.
  • 7+ years' experience in Commercial Finance, preferably within an FMCG sales role.
  • Deep understanding of sales mechanics, trade terms, and their financial implications.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial systems (knowledge of SAP & Hyperion is advantageous).
  • Strong business partnering skills - able to influence outcomes and handle challenging commercial situations in a professional manner.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
