The role of Financial Services Professional encompasses the management and control of financial systems, as well as oversight of store and depot functions.

Applicants will be responsible for preparing and completing annual financial statements, as well as participating in the annual budgetary process.

Key responsibilities include demonstrating initiative and innovation in problem-solving, managing team collaboration and communication, and ensuring sound understanding of accounting standards.

Preferred qualifications include tertiary-level education in accounting or equivalent relevant qualification, with at least two years of experience in an accounting position.

Additional preferred skills include proficiency in technology one software systems and experience in local government.

Employment terms will adhere to the Local Government (State) Award 2023.

Salary will be determined by qualifications and experience, ranging from $1,721.93 to $2,025.43 gross per week.
