About the Company

We are thrilled to partner with a leading ASX-listed company to offer an exciting opportunity for an experienced Payroll Analyst. Sitting within the Finance team, the Payroll Compliance Analyst ensures that payroll processes and systems remain compliant while maintaining the accuracy of payroll data. This role involves producing high-quality work that meets the expectations of stakeholders, regulators, and legislative requirements.

Duties:
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll for employees, including calculations for wages, bonuses, deductions, and superannuation
  • Ensure that payroll practices comply with legal and organizational standards, including modern awards and enterprise agreements
  • Maintain and ensure data integrity and confidentiality in the handling of payroll and personnel information
  • Prepare financial summaries and reports for management, including payroll expense reports and forecasts
  • Liaise with other departments to resolve payroll-related queries and concerns
  • Oversee payroll systems and software (SAP), ensuring they are functioning correctly and are updated as required
  • Continuously review and improve payroll processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Skills + Experience
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP. UAT testing, configuration, troubleshooting & generating reports will be highly regarded
  • Strong ability to analyse payroll data, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues
  • Proficiency in generating and interpreting payroll reports to provide insights and recommendations
  • High level of accuracy in processing payroll, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve payroll issues efficiently
  • Effective verbal and written communication for interacting with employees, management, and external stakeholders
  • Experience handling complex payroll scenarios, such as different types of employee entitlements or multiple awards/agreements
  • Proactive in identifying and addressing potential payroll issues before they escalate
