Payroll Compliance Specialist

Transcend Managed Services is seeking a highly skilled Payroll Compliance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our payroll department, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, as well as managing payroll processes and systems.
Key Responsibilities- Manage payroll compliance across multiple states and businesses.
- Process, reconcile, and report payroll transactions.
- Prepare and submit reporting submissions and payment transactions.
- Manage legislative changes and implement change workflows and strategy.
- Regulate payroll risk and record and action risk parameters, issues, improvements, and best practices.
- Experience in implementing and managing payroll governance.
- Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, legislation, and policy.
- Extensive knowledge of payroll systems and maintenance of rates and integrations.
- Previous experience of working in payroll essential and HR experience preferred.
- Proven communication and leadership skills and the ability to support and influence change.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Full-time permanent position.
- Flexible working environment with option to work from home 2 days per week.
- Salary $110k plus Super.
- Training opportunity and career development.
- Office based in Hampton East close to Moorabbin train station.
- Additional CBD office option to work from.
