We are seeking an accomplished Pastoral Leader to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support young people on their educational journey and contribute to the development of a positive school culture.


Role Summary

The Pastoral Leader will provide guidance and mentorship to students, as well as collaborate with colleagues to deliver effective student support programs. This role requires a high level of motivation, enthusiasm, and flexibility, with the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and small group support to students in need of pastoral care
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to develop and implement student support programs
  • Work closely with other members of the Middle Leadership team to ensure cohesive and effective student outcomes
  • Develop and maintain relationships with parents and caregivers to ensure open communication and collaboration

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (Bachelor of Education)
  • Current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) or eligibility to obtain one prior to commencement
  • Motivation and a passion for working with young people
  • Ability to build meaningful relationships with students, staff, and parents
