At our esteemed dining establishment, we are seeking an exceptional Assistant Restaurant Manager & Sommelier to elevate the guest experience. This role requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of fine beverages and exceptional interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Expert Beverage Guidance: Provide in-depth guidance on wine, sake, and Whisky to enhance the guest dining experience.
- Beverage Program Development: Develop and maintain an exceptional beverage program aligned with our culinary offering.
- Team Training: Train and support the service team in beverage knowledge, presentation, and responsible service.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock control, cellar organization, and beverage inventory management.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with suppliers and distributors to source unique and high-quality products.
- Engaging Experiences: Deliver engaging and educational beverage experiences for guests, including tastings and pairings.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all licensing laws, health & safety, and RSA requirements.
