National Civil Engineering Manager Position

This is a pivotal opportunity to lead our national civil team and drive growth, transformation, and excellence in the engineering sector.

As a highly respected leader, you will solidify our market presence, guide diversification and transformation, and reposition us as a preferred engineering partner across multiple specialities within the civil industry.

The Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, manage, and coach the national team to grow, develop, and deliver value organisationally and for stakeholders.
  • Build, maintain, and foster strong relationships with clients, working closely with executives in the context of the strategic plan to support existing and developing new business.
  • Lead the delivery of technically accurate, cost-effective, and optimum designs in accordance with relevant standards.
  • Identify and seek opportunities to lead and contribute to innovative and technical improvement projects for the business.
The Requirements:
  • Over 10 years' experience at a senior management level in a professional engineering design consultancy.
  • Recognised as a civil industry leader (from a staff, client, contractor, and technical perspective).
  • Demonstrated leadership and business development skills across multiple business units.
  • Strong experience in Governance and Risk Management.
  • Ability to develop detailed, compliant, and realistic budgets, plans, and targeted strategies to meet set goals.
  • Ability to interpret financial and marketing data and undertake analysis and reporting.
  • Thorough understanding of legal and regulatory requirements relating to your discipline.
