Job Description

We are seeking a Production Manager to oversee the safe execution of the mine plan and ensure optimal production outcomes.

As a Production Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of experienced and new-to-industry operators, fostering a culture of care, and promoting a diverse and inclusive environment.

You will apply a continuous improvement approach to identify and improve operating philosophy and processes, ensuring quality and efficiency in operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead by example, support a diverse and inclusive team with a collaborative culture.
  • Manage a team of experienced and new-to-industry operators, encouraging the development of skills to support the delivery of superior production outcomes.
  • Apply a continuous improvement approach to identify and improve operating philosophy and processes, ensuring quality and efficiency in operations.
Requirements
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, ability to foster positive working relationships and adapt to various communication styles.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to coach, lead and facilitate cooperation with production personnel.
  • Proven ability to plan, organise and coordinate a variety of tasks within a dynamic environment.
  • Intermediate computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, SAP and similar systems and databases.
  • Experience in leadership roles with strong people management skills.
  • Experience working in mining production roles.
  • Mining Supervisor Statement of Attainment - G1, G8, G9 (formerly S1, S2, S3).
