We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Senior Laboratory Professional to support our field and laboratory testing operations.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality construction materials testing, maintaining quality standards, and mentoring junior staff.

  • Deliver and perform a range of geotechnical and construction materials tests.
  • Maintain compliance with quality systems and industry standards.
  • Participate in internal and external audits and proficiency programs.
  • Lead and train junior technicians, fostering a culture of accuracy and integrity.
  • Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
  • Liaise with field and project teams to ensure timely sample handling and reporting.
  • Promote a strong safety-first culture in all work practices.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5-7 years' experience in CMT or geotechnical testing.
  • Diploma of Laboratory Technology or equivalent tertiary qualification.
  • Sound knowledge of Australian standards and test methods.
  • Experience supervising teams or mentoring junior staff in a laboratory setting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Valid Driver's Licence, Construction Induction Card, and PDMG Licence desirable.
