Are you a seasoned laboratory professional seeking a new challenge?

We are looking for a highly skilled Laboratory Team Lead to join our team in a manufacturing setting. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading and developing staff to deliver consistent, compliant, and high-quality lab services with a strong focus on safety and performance.

Your primary responsibility will be to oversee daily lab operations, including product certification and production needs across raw materials, finished oils, and greases. You will also ensure instrument calibration, method adherence, and staff competency align with industry standards and NATA 17025 accreditation.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have hands-on experience in laboratory operations, a strong attention to detail, personal integrity, and a collaborative approach to working in a team environment. You should also be able to manage competing priorities and make decisions under pressure.

* Tertiary qualification in science, ideally with a major in Chemistry; people-leader training (e.g., Cert IV or Diploma in Leadership) highly regarded
