About the Role

The Travel Logistics Expert - Operations Excellence will be part of the Integrated Services Team, supporting the Specialist People Logistics role. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.


Job Description

">
  • Provide travel planning, forecasting, scheduling, and demand v capacity coordination for Copper SA Asset operations.
  • Support shutdown and project mobilisation travel planning, forecasting, scheduling, and end-to-end travel coordination.
  • Optimise travel bookings and services through data analysis.
  • Recover from travel disruptions and provide customer engagement across all areas of workforce, community, and contract business partners.
  • Apply a continuous improvement mindset to drive efficiencies in travel services for Copper SA.

Required Skills and Qualifications

">
  • Proven experience in operational or people logistics settings within complex organisations.
  • Ability to influence and mentor others in health and safety principles and behaviours.
  • Experience working with travel booking systems (e.g., SAMS / Inflight) and dashboards, as well as Microsoft programs.
  • Strong appreciation for customer satisfaction and operating perfection.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Analytical problem solver with business acumen, able to focus and prioritise deliverables to provide timely insights to stakeholders through quality data analytics.
  • Effective and influential customer engagement, including constructive challenge and building trusted relationships.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and remain calm under pressure.
