Knox Private Hospital is a fully accredited tertiary facility located in Wantirna, Victoria. As a leading private hospital in the eastern region, we provide a range of medical services, including emergency care, surgical specialties, and cardiology services.
Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Environmental Service Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our cleaning and maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing a high standard of cleaning services, operating in line with infection control standards and WHS policy & procedures, and delivering excellent customer service to staff, clients, and patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high standard of cleaning services to ensure a clean and safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
- Operate in line with infection control standards and WHS policy & procedures to minimize the risk of infection and ensure a safe working environment.
- Deliver excellent customer service to staff, clients, and patients, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Have demonstrated ongoing commitment to professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest cleaning and maintenance techniques and best practices.
- Experience in healthcare or hotel cleaning (desirable).
- Working with Children check (if relevant).
- Commitment to service excellence.
- Proven time management skills and ability to manage priorities.
- Strong communication and customer skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work well independently and within a team.
- Availability for on-call shifts.
