Job Title: Financial Leadership Role

The corporate controller is responsible for leading the accounting and reporting functions in building a world-class accounting function.

This individual will manage and monitor all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and reporting requirements as the leader of the operational accounting team.

  • Manage financial operations and ensure timely production and interpretation and analysis of financial reports.
  • Maintain internal control safeguards over company assets and operating environment.
  • Work with senior leadership to establish and monitor financial and operating benchmarks, budgets, management reports, and information on a consistent basis.
  • Oversee and support the accounting team with dynamic leadership that creates an environment of trust, teamwork, productivity, and consistency.
  • Develop, maintain, and evolve documentation of processes and procedures to produce consistent reporting of financial results of multiple business units.
  • Monitor reporting and compliance requirements and covenants of lending institutions and financial investors.
  • Deliver timely and accurate financial reports to internal and external parties.
  • Understand and maintain ERP system operations, identifying and correcting system issues as necessary to maintain integrity of financial information.
  • Support annual audits and coordinate tax and regulatory reporting requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting.
  • Professional accounting certification, such as CPA or CMA.
  • 5 years' experience managing as a senior-level accounting leader.
  • Advanced competency in financial management and accounting software.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting requirements.
  • Track record of developing and reporting on financial results across multiple business entities.
  • Exemplary track record of building, managing, and evolving accounting teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate financial activity to improvement opportunities.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
