IT Infrastructure Specialist Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing system support and administration of Epworth's IT infrastructure, including Citrix and end-user compute platforms.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in implementing, supporting, and managing critical business systems within large organizations. They will also possess excellent technical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex issues quickly and efficiently.

  • Key responsibilities include:
  • Providing technical leadership in the support and administration of Citrix and end-user compute environments.
  • Continually improving the security and system management of these environments and the software and tools used to run and maintain them.
  • Managing and troubleshooting performance, application delivery, and end-user issues across EUC platforms.

The selected candidate will work closely with our Senior Technical Manager – Application Delivery and other IT Specialists to ensure alignment with strategic direction, industry best practice, and security standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A solid background in implementing, supporting, and managing Citrix Applications and Desktops (CVAD) and End User Compute environments.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience with Citrix NetScaler and Profile Manager.
  • Proven ability to implement, support, and maintain Windows 10/11 and Server 2016/2019/2022 platforms.
  • Excellent technical and problem-solving skills, with a strong capability to resolve Citrix and EUC issues.
  • Experience with managing and deployment of policy/OS via Intune and SCCM.
