Project Manager for Defence Infrastructure Projects
Our organization is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of infrastructure projects in the Defence sector. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing construction projects, ideally within the Defence or Government sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage infrastructure projects from initiation to closure, ensuring timely completion and within budget.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders through proactive engagement.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with Commonwealth Procurement Rules.
- Manage project documentation and reporting in line with Defence and organization standards.
- Capture and share lessons learned to improve future project delivery.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Business, Engineering, Construction Management).
- A current Baseline Security Clearance (or ability to maintain one).
- Proven experience managing construction projects, ideally within the Defence or Government sector.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies such as PMBOK, PRINCE2, or Agile.
- Strong understanding of government procurement practices and compliance standards.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
