**Job Description:**

We are seeking an ambitious and dynamic civil engineer to assist in the growth and development of our Civil Engineering division in Sydney.

This key engineering role will be responsible for planning, managing and successfully delivering engineering projects of a complex nature.

The successful candidate will have experience in production of detailed engineering drawings commensurate with level of duties, and a knowledge of construction methods and their impact on design.

The role requires strong communication skills and the ability to maintain relationships at different levels within client organisations.

  • Planning and managing engineering projects from inception to completion
  • Carrying out and managing detailed designs for all types of projects and all aspects of projects ensuring that designs are innovative, prepared to a high standard and in accordance with the needs and expectations of our clients
  • Managing and resolving project issues, and consider construction costings and practices in the design process
  • Lead, mentor and develop a team of engineers and designers within the civil discipline

**Required Skills and Qualifications:

We require a Civil Engineer with the following qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Chartered member (CPEng) of Institute of Engineers Australia
  • 10+ years of demonstrated design experience
