Seafood Capability Developer

This role is a key position in our grocery sales team, responsible for developing seafood capability within store deli teams.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver hands-on training to store managers, deli managers, and deli teams on seafood species, merchandise standards, product handling, food safety, and customer service excellence.
- Monitor and support adherence to retailer standards, ensuring consistent execution of merchandising, pricing, and promotional activities.
- Analyse sales data to identify performance opportunities and implement targeted initiatives to drive commercial outcomes.
- Foster strong relationships with store managers and deli teams to influence positive results and encourage collaboration.
- Utilise CRM and reporting tools to document store visits, track training outcomes, and highlight sales opportunities.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have a strong retail or deli operations background, preferably in the seafood or fresh categories. They should possess effective trainer and coach skills, with excellent communication and relationship-building abilities. Commercial acumen is also essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM experience.
