**Naval Construction Officer Role**

Job Overview:

The Australian Government's Naval Construction Branch is seeking a skilled Technical Officer to ensure the quality and safety of naval vessels. As a critical member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering assurance services on whole-of-ship systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Attend regular inspections to monitor sub-assembly, assembly, and unit equipment installations.
  • Conduct surveillance activities across various shipyards to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Review technical reports, drawings, and specifications to identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage and report test results and non-conformities.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining build assurance plans for capability projects.
  • Support other teams within the Naval Construction Branch as needed.
