Key Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and submitting evidence-based content to ensure timely and strategic delivery. This role will act as the market access lead on cross-functional teams, delivering actionable insights to inform business planning.

The role will involve:

  • Preparing PBAC, MSAC, and PHARMAC submissions, including writing clear and concise content.
  • Serving as the market access lead on cross-functional teams, delivering reliable insights to shape strategy and inform business planning.
  • Conducting reimbursement feasibility assessments for new products/indications to support portfolio prioritization and resource allocation.
  • Monitoring the evolving reimbursement and policy landscape in Australia and New Zealand and contributing to stakeholder engagement activities that support access objectives.
  • Collaborating with regional and global teams to ensure local insights inform evidence planning and support alignment on access and pricing strategy.
  • Providing input into reimbursement and pricing assumptions for financial planning cycles.
  • Representing the organization externally with government agencies and external experts as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Biomedical Science, Public Health, Health Economics, or Business Administration.
  • Experience in Value and Access, health economics, or related roles within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Understanding of the ANZ healthcare system and reimbursement processes.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor content to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and matrix environments.
