Billing and Commercial Officer Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive Billing and Commercial Officer to support the delivery of accurate and timely billing services tailored to specific customer categories and scenarios.

\

This role involves executing billing processes efficiently, validating and reconciling data, and promptly resolving any exceptions or discrepancies to uphold high standards of accuracy and customer satisfaction.

Billing Lifecycle Management

  • Handle all aspects of billing across the customer lifecycle, including initial bills, automated billing, exception handling, and final billing for mass market, off-market, commercial & industrial (C&I), and generator connections.\
  • Aid with billing processes and support C&I Billing Operations.\
  • Validate and reconcile data to ensure accuracy and efficiency in billing processes.\
  • Promptly resolve any exceptions or discrepancies to maintain high standards of customer satisfaction.\
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver accurate and timely billing services.\
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in billing and commercial operations.\
  • Analyse data to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes as needed.\
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.\
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to track billing performance and customer satisfaction.\
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including customers, colleagues, and senior management.\
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.\
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.\
  • Foster a positive and supportive work environment that encourages collaboration and open communication.\
