The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Hospitality Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the in-house catering function and ensuring the efficient and effective operation of this function on our client floor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the in-house catering function, including beverage and food service to all meetings, excluding events, AGM, training, etc.
  • Provide beverage, coffee, and tea stations for events, AGM, training, and town hall gatherings, etc.
  • Review the meeting room manager system (Condeco) and ensure all catering requirements have been ordered as required.
  • Review the meeting room manager system and ensure water and glasses are set up in the meeting room and AV equipment is functioning, prior to the commencement of the meeting.
  • Assist with AV set-ups in the meeting rooms, as required.
  • Clean the barista coffee machine in the main kitchen on level 11.
  • Set up catering requirements for breakfast, morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea meetings.
  • Manage the catering budget and actively seek ways to achieve cost savings.
  • Process and submit all catering invoices, ensuring they have been coded correctly.
  • Order and manage all in-house catering for the client floor.
  • Set up and reset room configuration to suit as per request.
  • Liaise with the Clients & Markets team on all in-house events and organise both the catering, beverages, and all other ad-hoc requests for the in-house events.
  • Manage relationships with BDO catering suppliers.
  • Liaise and organise with external catering companies and all other parties prior to the event and on the day of the event (i.e., setup and pack down of the in-house events).
  • Responsible for managing the firm's in-house functions (i.e., firm's Friday Night Drinks, Melbourne Cup Event, Kids Christmas Party, and other ad-hoc events as requested).
  • Back up to servicing the breakfast hub, clean kitchen (load and empty dishwasher) on the working levels as required.
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced hospitality professional who has a strong background in corporate events and catering. You will have:

Experience in hospitality, preferably from a corporate environment.Proficiency in MS Office applications.RSA certificate.Qualified Barista.Knowledge of the NSW liquor laws (The Liquor Act 2007 and the Gaming and Liquor Administration Act 2007) and ensuring that BDO complies with the relevant legislation.Understanding of local council legislation and federal government food safety laws, including NSW government food safety laws - Food Act 2003 (NSW) and the Food Regulation 2015 (NSW).Why BDO?
