Procurement Administrator Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Administrator to join our dynamic team at Dematic Pty. Ltd. (ILD-AUS). As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for expediting purchase orders, compiling detailed reports, reconciling invoices, maintaining accurate vendor records, and fostering effective supplier communications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with project managers, site-based engineers, and internal stakeholders across multiple sites to identify material and service requirements.
  • Process and oversee the management of Purchase Orders.
  • Expedite purchase orders for timely processing and delivery.
  • Reconcile invoices to ensure alignment with purchase orders and contracts.
  • Prepare weekly reports on overdue orders.
  • Assist in sourcing materials, components, and services to support project and operational requirements.
  • Onboard new vendors and update existing vendor details.
  • Support vendor management by fostering relationships and ensuring contractual compliance.

Requirements:

  • Be an enthusiastic team player with a collaborative, can-do attitude.
  • Exceptional organisational and planning abilities.
  • Able to manage records in preparation for audits and compliance requirements.
  • Previous experience supporting the requisition-to-payment process.
  • Confident in addressing delivery, quality, or compliance issues related to materials and services.
  • Good understanding of vendor sourcing practices.
  • Capable of operating with a keen sense of business urgency.
  • Driven by a passion for building and nurturing lasting supplier partnerships.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
