Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Early Childhood Education Director to oversee the operation of our licensed childcare centre. As a leader, you will be responsible for leading and supporting a team of Childcare Educators and Teachers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and education to children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old.

About the Role
  • Oversee the daily operation of the childcare centre, including staffing, budget management, and communication with parents and stakeholders.
  • Lead and support the professional development of the Childcare Educators and Teachers, including coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and lesson plans that support the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of each child.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times, following all policies and procedures.
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive culture that promotes teamwork and respect for diversity.
Requirements
  • Acecqa approved diploma (or higher) in early childhood education or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working in a licensed childcare centre or similar setting, including experience in a leadership role.
  • A current Working with Children Check.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team and manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer an attractive salary between $83,000 - $99,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience. Additionally, you will have access to an incentive program providing an annual bonus of up to 12.5% of your base salary.
