Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Specialist Support Worker to join our team in delivering intensive, tailored support to victim-survivors of domestic and sexual violence.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in our Leaving Violence Program, working holistically to address complex issues and ensure safety. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those affected by trauma.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing individualised support plans to meet the unique needs of each client
- Conducting risk assessments and developing safety plans to ensure the well-being of clients
- Coordinating referrals to specialist services and advocating for clients' needs
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, Community Services or Psychotherapy
- Membership and credentials required include registration with AHPRA or relevant peak body, current Working with Vulnerable People Check, Completion of National Police Check, and Verification of right to work in Australia
- Three years of experience in risk and needs assessment, safety planning and trauma-informed support specific to FDSV
You will need to possess the following skills:

- Goal setting and action planning
