Support Worker Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will provide assistance to individuals with disabilities, enabling them to live independently in their own homes.

You will build strong relationships with clients by sharing your experiences and engaging them in various activities such as social inclusion, community participation, and hobbies like sewing, arts, gardening, cooking, and scrapbooking.

We require a reliable, committed, and empathetic individual who can make a positive impact in the lives of our clients. Our ideal candidate has a proactive attitude, is enthusiastic, sensitive, and emotionally stable. They possess excellent communication and organisational skills, enjoy working collaboratively, and prioritise punctuality, reliability, and individual needs.

Key requirements include a Certificate IV in Disability or Diploma of Community Services, valid NDIS Screening Check Clearance, experience supporting people with disabilities, a current First Aid Certificate, smartphone, and internet access. All applicants must have relevant visa or working rights in Australia.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Certificate IV in Disability or Diploma of Community Services or equivalent
  • Valid NDIS Screening Check Clearance
  • Experience in using hoist
  • Open Valid Driver License and own reliable vehicle
  • At least one year experience supporting people with disabilities
  • Current First aid Certificate
  • Smart Phone and internet access
