Portfolio Manager Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Portfolio Manager to join our team and play a key role in supporting investment decisions. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with a passion for finance and investment management.

The successful candidate will have a strong track record of conducting financial analysis, market research, and due diligence to evaluate potential investment opportunities. They will work closely with senior team members to monitor the performance of existing investments and provide recommendations to optimise returns.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Modelling: Conduct thorough financial modelling and analysis to evaluate potential investment opportunities.
  • Market Research: Perform in-depth market research and industry analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Investment Memorandums: Assist in preparing investment memorandums, presentations, and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Due Diligence: Participate in due diligence processes, including reviewing financial statements, legal documents, and operational data.
  • Portfolio Monitoring: Monitor the performance of portfolio investments and provide recommendations to optimise returns.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA, CFA, etc.) is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, asset management, or a related field.
  • Strong financial modelling skills, including proficiency in Excel and valuation techniques (DCF, comparables, etc.).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Proficiency in using financial databases and research tools.
