The Reconnecting River Country Program is a strategic undertaking aimed at enhancing environmental health by streamlining water delivery for ecological purposes. This program seeks to reconnect rivers with wetlands and floodplains through collaborative efforts with First Nations people, landholders, and the broader community to achieve multifaceted outcomes.
Primary Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategies for river rejuvenation and ecosystem restoration;
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design and deliver projects that promote environmental sustainability;
- Contribute to policy development and advocacy efforts to support program objectives;
- Proven experience in environmental management and conservation;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities;
