Consumer Relations Specialist Job Description

This role involves handling consumer queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

  • We are seeking an experienced Consumer Relations Specialist to join our team, someone who can effectively handle customer inquiries and resolve issues efficiently.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work under pressure, and have experience in customer service roles. This position requires strong problem-solving abilities, time management skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to consumer queries via phone, email, or other channels in a prompt and courteous manner.
  • Manage consumer cases from start to finish, ensuring resolution and follow-up as necessary.
  • Liaise with internal teams, such as Supply Chain, R&D, IT, Sales, and Marketing, to address escalated issues or improve processes.
  • Analyze consumer data to identify trends and areas for improvement, developing strategies to address these findings.
  • Record and maintain accurate information on consumer contacts and interactions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in customer service or a related field.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, both internally and externally.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities and tenacity in following up on queries or escalations until resolution.
  • Flexibility to work additional hours or days as needed to support the team.
