Volunteer Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate and empathetic individual to provide pastoral care to an elderly client in their home. As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in someone's life and enhance their quality of care.

Job Description:

As a pastoral care volunteer, you will be responsible for visiting our client regularly and engaging with them in conversations about their spiritual and emotional needs. You will also have the opportunity to support the work of our HammondCare At Home Pastoral Care Coordinator, under their direction.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • High level of interpersonal skills, including strong empathy and listening skills.
  • Pastoral Care training or experience in a related field is desirable.
