Pastoral Care Volunteer

Are you looking for a rewarding volunteer opportunity where you can make a positive impact on someone's life? As a pastoral care volunteer, you will have the chance to support the spiritual and emotional needs of elderly clients living in their homes. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about sharing God's love through presence and prayer.

You will be actively involved with a local Christian church and work closely with our HammondCare At Home Pastoral Care Coordinator. Your tasks may include:

  • Supporting people to meet their spiritual needs

Requirements:

  • 18 years or older
  • National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare

We would be happy to discuss a suitable time during the week for a one hour visit between 9am and 4pm Monday to Friday, visits could be weekly to fortnightly depending on your availability.
