About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Clinician to join our Infant Child Youth Area Mental Health Wellbeing Service. As a key member of our team, you will provide a range of clinical casework and therapeutic interventions to support the mental health and wellbeing of children, young people, and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake formal assessments, individual and family system work, and other therapeutic interventions in collaboration with peers.
- Work as a health professional within a multidisciplinary team providing a range of child, youth, and family therapeutic interventions.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, and provide ongoing support and guidance to clients and their families.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
Requirements
- Unencumbered registration with APHRA for Nursing, Occupational Therapist, Endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist Registrar, or eligibility and willingness to enter into a PBA Registrar Program.
- Nurses will hold a postgraduate qualification in Mental Health Nursing.
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience.
- Knowledge of recovery models and trauma-informed practice.
- Knowledge of Brief Intervention Models, Eating Disorder treatment, and Single Session work would be an advantage.
