About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Clinician to join our team at Albury Wodonga Health. As a valued member of our Infant Child Youth Mental Health Wellbeing Service, you will undertake a full range of clinical casework and other therapeutic interventions in collaboration with peers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake formal assessments, individual and family system work
  • Work as a health professional within a multidisciplinary team providing a range of child, youth and family therapeutic interventions
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with clients and their families
  • Provide education and support to clients and their families
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Unencumbered registration with APHRA for Nursing, Occupational Therapist, Endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist Registrar or eligibility and willingness to enter into a PBA Registrar Program. Eligibility for membership with AASW for Social Work.
  • Nurses will hold a post graduate qualification in Mental health Nursing or specialist post basic course of training which led to registration as a Div3 nurse. Experience and demonstrated ability to work as a health professional within a multidisciplinary team providing a range of child, youth and family therapeutic interventions.
  • Minimum 2 years clinical experience
  • Knowledge of recovery models and trauma informed practice
  • Knowledge of Brief Intervention Models, Eating Disorder treatment and Single Session work would be a distinct advantage
