The commercial construction industry demands professionals who can effectively manage health and safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment.

About the Role:

As a Junior HSE Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting in the development of comprehensive health and safety plans. This includes ensuring all sites adhere to current quality regulations and providing training and advice to team members and subcontractors on best practices.

You will also conduct thorough reviews and risk analyses to identify potential hazards and implement measures to mitigate them. Additionally, you will investigate incidents and report your findings to enable corrective actions to be taken.

In this role, you will leverage your Cert IV in OH&S and 12+ months of experience in an HSE role within the Commercial New Build construction industry to drive positive change and contribute to a culture of safety excellence.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement health and safety plans
  • Evaluate and improve site compliance with quality regulations
  • Deliver training and guidance to enhance team member and subcontractor knowledge
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and analysis
  • Investigate incidents and provide reports
  • Essential Qualifications:
  • Cert IV in Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S)
  • At least 12 months of experience in an HSE role within the Commercial New Build construction industry
  • Prior experience working for a head contractor is highly desirable
