Operations Management Role

The Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of a venue, overseeing junior managers, staff training, rostering, security, compliance, and executing promotions and functions.

This key leadership position plays a pivotal role in driving turnover, maintaining wages, improving gross profit percentage (GP%), and promoting the venue to attract and retain patrons.

The successful candidate will be proficient in interpreting financial reports, implementing cost-saving strategies, and maximizing revenue efficiently. Experience with point-of-sale systems and venue management software is essential, as well as expertise in staff scheduling and roster management.

A proven track record in managing teams of 40+ staff across multiple departments is required, preferably in venues with high annual turnovers.

Flexibility and availability to work a minimum of 4 nights during peak trade and events are necessary. We offer an attractive base salary along with bonuses that reward key performance indicators.
