Key Project Engineering Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Project Engineer to join our team on a major demolition/closure project in the Northern Territory.

This position is based on a 2:1 FIFO roster, with flights out of any major cities and a 10.5-hour workday.

Responsibilities:
  • Reports to the Senior Project Manager.
  • Coordinates with the environmental and revegetation lead.
  • Manages technical civil components of external engineering consultant contracts.
  • Ensures civil components of remediation designs meet project objectives.
  • Cordinates with civil contractors during execution.
  • Maintains a positive safety culture.
  • Works with contractors on site to meet safety KPIs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or a related field).
  • 3-7 years of professional experience in civil project engineering.
  • Proven experience in the mining sector.
  • Extensive expertise in developing and implementing project schedules.
  • Cost estimates, coordination activities, and managing contractor claims.
  • Demonstrated project management capabilities.
