We are seeking a Senior Commercial Finance Strategist to join our team in Sydney.

About the Role

This role is responsible for driving analysis on pricing/promotions/mix management and marketing spend effectiveness to support the value creation agenda.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to standardize models, KPI trackers, and activity evaluation methods across the area.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Sourcing insights from data and analytics tools to inform business decisions;
  • Developing and presenting proposals for new launches and activities;
  • Leading cross-functional data integration to generate insights and drive informed decision-making;
  • Modeling scenarios and providing recommendations for optimal outcomes across activities and markets;
  • Ensuring timely inputs for monthly meetings and adherence to internal governance requirements;
  • Leveraging analytical tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A degree or equivalent experience, preferably with a professional qualification (CA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA/MBA);
  • At least 4 years of experience in a global FMCG or similar dynamic operating environment;
  • Detailed knowledge of finance tools and systems, including SAP/BPC/Excel;
  • Broad experience in large global organizations with in-depth knowledge of specific FMCG process areas;
  • Strong influencing, leadership, and people skills;
  • Experience in strategic analysis and planning, execution, performance metrics, project evaluation, and a strong understanding of business dynamics.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for finance and a commercial acumen, with excellent analytical and communication skills. You will be a key contributor to our team and play a critical role in driving business growth and profitability.
