Senior Property Manager - Boutique Commercial Portfolio

Our organization seeks an accomplished Senior Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our commercial property management business, with responsibility for a dedicated team and a portfolio of 30–40 commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in commercial property management, a strong knowledge of property legislation, leases, and trust accounting principles, leadership skills, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, and a proactive approach with strong attention to detail.

The Role
  • Lead the day-to-day management of our commercial portfolio (30–40 assets)
  • Manage and mentor a small team of property managers and a trust accountant
  • Oversee lease administration, tenant relationships, and maintenance coordination
  • Drive operational efficiency and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Act as a key point of contact for owners, delivering exceptional service and strategic advice

About You
  • Proven experience in commercial property management (leadership or senior PM role)
  • Strong knowledge of property legislation, leases, and trust accounting principles
  • Leadership skills with the ability to guide, mentor, and develop a small team
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong attention to detail
Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Management: Oversee the daily operations of our commercial property portfolio, ensuring seamless management and maximizing returns.
  • Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop a small team of property managers and a trust accountant, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support, including lease administration, tenant relationships, and maintenance coordination, to ensure smooth operation of the portfolio.
  • Operational Efficiency: Drive operational efficiency, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance performance.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, maintaining a high level of professionalism and expertise in all aspects of property management.
