Role Overview

Gallagher seeks a skilled Impairment Benefits Specialist to provide exceptional customer service and support in the management of lump sum benefits for customers and clients.

The role involves investigating and identifying entitlements, reviewing claims, and ensuring outcomes are effectively communicated and actioned within specified timeframes.

Main Responsibilities

  • Proactively manage lump sum benefits claims
  • Provide high-quality customer service to internal and external clients
  • Investigate and identify benefits in line with legislative requirements
  • Review claims to determine if a benefit exists
  • Communicate outcomes effectively and ensure timely actioning

About You

  • Previous experience in Workers Compensation or Claims Management
  • Strong sense of accountability, attention to detail, and ability to work autonomously
  • Exceptional decision-making skills with critical analysis
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology and ability to interpret case law
