Job Title: Expert Mental Health Specialist Wanted

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced mental health specialist to join our team. As a key member of our acute care mental health team, you will provide urgent mental health assessments, risk management, and coordinated referrals for adults in crisis.

You will work within a collaborative team committed to trauma-informed, recovery-oriented care. Your responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive mental health assessments, collaborating with stakeholders for care and discharge planning, and delivering evidence-based, trauma-informed therapeutic support.

To be successful in this role, you will require experience in acute or community mental health, registration with AHPRA/AASW as applicable, strong crisis assessment and intervention skills, and a valid NSW driver's licence. You will also need a NSW Working With Children Check and be willing to commit to a 12-week contract with potential extension.
