Disability Support Specialist

We are seeking a Disability Support Specialist to provide expert care and support to individuals with disabilities, empowering them to live fulfilling lives.

About the Role

This is a part-time position that requires flexibility and a willingness to work varied shifts, including morning, day, evening, and awake night shifts. You will need to be available for a minimum of 3 days a week, 20 hours (although some casual staff work up to 40 hours per week).

You will be based in one of our group homes, where you will deliver high-quality support to clients, assist with daily activities such as mealtimes and personal care, administer medication, and engage clients in their community.

  • Deliver person-centered support to clients in a group home setting
  • Assist clients with daily tasks, including meal preparation and personal grooming
  • Administer medication safely and accurately
  • Support clients to participate in their community and build skills for independence
  • Monitor client well-being and report progress to management
